mY Best Fren wEddinG Pt 01

Last 070707, Rina and Azhar had ventured into a new journey called ‘Marriage’. Being one of the witnesses of their long love story, I was grateful as finally they had tied the knot. It all started with the IRC and extended by lots of breakfast, lunch, dinner and dates and also not to forget love and IT stuff and all of it had been neatly concluded by the solemnization ceremony at the Masjid. Felt a bit guilty for unable to be there as I’d have to attend another wedding ceremony on that same day (Tarikh cantik org kata). But managed to catch up the ‘Malam Berinai’extended by lots of breakfast, lunch, dinner and dates and also not to forget love and IT stuff and all of it had been neatly concluded by the solemnization ceremony at the Masjid. Felt a bit guilty for unable to be there as I’d have to attend another wedding ceremony on that same day (Tarikh cantik org kata). But managed to catch up the ‘Malam Berinai’. The couple looked sweet in the red songket suits. Had a nice time posing as the photographer from CS was there too.

Late at night me and Rina was busy with selecting songs to be played during the ‘Sanding’ tomorrow. As usual, oldies had always been the best rendition for weddings, sweet and romantic. The next day, Rina having this ‘Majlis Khatam Quran’. She’s wearing all white modern baju kurung courtesy from the Mak Andam. By the end of the ceremony she was feeling exhausted already. Maybe because the day itself was quite hot. Soon, the brides and the bridesmaid started to get ready. Rina looked radiant and beautiful in the maroon songket with gold bunga tabor. While Azhar looked handsome in the maroon songket too. Eventually, Rina and I was quite worried as it had been so hot and we wondered how we gonna survived the afternoon. However, not too long after that, the rain started to pour in like it doesn’t want to stop. Felt a bit relieved and grateful. The sanding ceremony went on well and I was quite surprised that few of our friends even tepong tawar me with the hopes that I’ll be the next one to be on the pelamin. Be patient gals..the time will come. Just keep on waiting. Back to the Rina’s wedding, after the ceremony ends, she and the husband had sent me back to home with 3 paper bag packed with goodies; lotions, chocolates, cakes, bunga telur, and of course the delicious leftover of lauk kenduri (I love the asam pedas so much!!)
